Austin Gipsy at auction.

I stopped at a local weekly car auction that usually sells really crappy '80's and 90's cars (you know, the cash for clunkers type) and there was a 1963 Austin Gipsy (spelling correct). It was an excelent original with 8K miles (or maybe KM ). It looked like a Land Rover and was RHD. I didn't stick around to see what it brought, but it probably wasn't much. This wasn't a collector car crowd. Some locals were checking it out pre-sale and decided to see if it would hold RPM's at red line without blowing up. It survived. Everything usually goes for a few hundred to maybe a thousand or two. Too bad I didn't have a camera.

Phil.
