I used to love those things as a kid!!! That was the first vehicle I ever saw with a snorkle and remember being fascinated by a "jeep that can go under water!!" That poor example seems to be pretty far gone!!
 
I think it must have stalled under water 30 years ago and just recovered it now :thumbsup:

Nah, that's factory installed rust. The paint musta just wore out. For that kinda $$$ I woulda bought it. I'm an avid rock-crawler so I can appreciate most 4x4's (not stupid lifted non functioning "show trucks") but would never treat something like this as I would my Jeep! (snickering maniacally as I dump it on it's side, family on board... :devilgrin: ) I guess I should pay more attention to this forum. Oh well.
