There's an Allegro wagon for sale on the
Seattle (& Portland) craigslist ( the English
version of the Pontiac Aztec).
I didn't think that there were any of these
left.

Now come on Doug, don't be cruel. It's a homely little thing for sure, but an Aztek? Even the Allegro wagon isn't that ugly.

Actually I read something about the guy in the Seattle area who bought one of these....he has a wedge Pricess as well. Bet it's thwe same guy.

I was just referring to how unloved the
Allegro seemed to be treated about the same
as our press treated the Pontiac.
To me,it's so strange,it's cool.

I know Doug, you wouldn't be that cruel /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I can confidently say that I have driven more different Allegros than the rest of the membership put together, and I have to say that they were not bad little cars. Not great, but not bad. Pleasant to drive, handled well. Easy maintenance. I'd have one for the heck of it.

I once saw a Wolseley Princess wedge-car at a car show in Ontario (2003 I think), at the time it had a for sale sign in it, have always thought it was abit of an odd sighting, especially here in North America...

Nooooooo - bad flashbacks.
I called it the all-aggro for a reason...

We all called it the all-aggro; what an awful car in a long list of awful cars that we seemed to produce around that time.

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, But Yes that was My Allegro Estate on E-bay and Craigslist, I ended up selling it to another local guy who has a Reliant Regal, and Yes I do also have a Wedge Princess and a MG Metro, also just purchased a Austin Maestro Vanden Plas but it's a 83 so it won't be arriving til January. I'm also on the hunt for Another Allegro, but I ONLY want a series 3 or Nothing and not a lot of really nice ones are coming up, and I hate to ship something over in need of "attention". The only attention I want it to need is the attention it will get when I drive it to a car show
