Great story, JP. Someone commented on Bring A Trailer that there should be the equivalent of Ancestry.com for cars. You'd have a good start on the Seven's family tree.
The old British Log book gave a great record of the car and it's history. I do not know if they still use the same system in England now. Still have my old TR2 log book sadly the car went to rust in piece long ago.
