If you get a chance to go to any of the AUHC races in the coming weeks....do! It was cold and windy most of the time, rainy some of the time and we had a GREAT time. The pictures don't do the cars justice, they are beautiful up close. The WI chapter were great hosts. Jeff Johnk has done a fantastic job getting this pulled off. The Aussie's are a awesome group of folks.
A special ATTA BOY goes to Dave Phillips who drove his car from Washington state and then raced it. He is the type of person that makes the Healey group so much fun to be associated with.
Go see them....it is worth it.

The pictures I was referring to were the ones posted earlier when the cars were in Minneapolis.

Go to this topic "The Australian US Healey Challenge 1st photos are available" and it will take you there. It was on page 2 of my display. Someone more versed than I might be able to post the link here.

I agree 100% with Bob......SEE THOSE CARS!

My wife and I drove our 100-4 up on Sunday to watch them, very glad I did! The Healey Challenge race made the couple hour drive with the windshield down in 40 degree weather worth it!

We can't thank the Aussies enough for bringing those awesome cars over (especially the fours /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif).

Do you were a hood and goggles? I made a small wind deflector which works well but not at 40 degrees. Too cold for that.

Sunglasses and a knit headband was it, at least it was in the mid 40's when we left in the morning and not low 40's like a few years ago at that RA May vintage (those 5 degrees make all the difference).

Anyway, Bob, when we left Sunday we followed a black 3000 with Missouri plates for the first 10 miles or so, was that you?

Walt, yes that was us. Saw you in the rearview mirror for awhile. It was really nice to get back to warm weather on Monday!
