Leaving out of Lubbock Texas next Tuesday...the 29th..and flying to Florida. Tampa, rent a car and head to our place in Okeechobee. Three weeks this time. No customers...no wrenches. Loaf, read...help my sister out. have been working myself sick..so sick I spent time at the Drs today. Not sick, just had to get a metal sliver removed from my right eye...so if my typing is sloppy thats the reason. lots of pain, but I heal fairly rapidly. Odd thing is I was cutting a new floor panel on a 71 VW Bug...the owner is my Dr. in Roswell who is going to give me a new knee shortly. Text him and told him I want a good one because of the eye. He guarantees it will work and bend in some direction. That made me fell warm and fuzzy. Anyhow, we're looking forward to the trip and 10 days after we return I'm taking the CGT to Las Cruces NM to an English car gathering. A coupe still isnt ready...maybe soon.

OUCH!

While you're in Tampa, hook up with Doc!

Jack;
This is the best time to leave.... get away from all the wind and sand in your eye.
Now you can get the sand between your toes.... have fun there.
I will miss the British car days in Cruces this year.. Always a good time there...

Hello Trouble.

Get better, get rest Jack you need both!

Harpoon is out of the eye...Dr said I was VERY lucky, just missed the pupil. Patch is off and other than having to pry my eyelid open all looks well. Going to take it easy at the shop and just overhaul a VW Bug eng. No body work, no cutting, sanding or grinding. Got the lecture..lectures..from wife, daughter and son..not to mention the Dr that owns the Bug that I was working on when I got hurt.
