Trying to post some pictures (adding to a thread). When I do a post preview, the photos are rotated 90 degrees. How do I fix this?

No ideas? I was able to post a couple of pictures by cropping them to landscape mode but I see others have posted pictures in portrait mode. What am I doing wrong? I wached the video on attachments and learned a lot but it didn't address this issue.
