About a month ago I posted a pic in the Triumph forum and the photo was automatically entered in the media file.
Today I needed to post the same pic in a different thread.
I tried to attach the pic from the media file instead of uploading it again from my computer but was unable to accomplish it.
Is it possible to grab the pic from the media file and attach it in another post?

Well, lets try this. I just opened an image that was in the media section (clicked it to open as full-size), then right-clicked image and selected "Copy Image Address". Now, I'm going to click the "Insert Image" icon in the editor and "paste" the URL of the image into the "By URL" section of the insert image popup (select the little link icon in the popup). Let's see what happens:

It worked. So yes, you can grab an image in the media section and put it into another post.

Umm I don't see anything boss.

JP What are you viewing on? Computer or iPhone? It's a Pano image so very wide but not very tall. I'll try a more normal sized image. Can you see this:

OK Bas... I just tried the instructions you posted and I've have posted a pic from the Media section.
Also, like JP, I was unable to view the pic from your post #2. I do however see it in post #4. All is good, thanks for the help.:arms:

I do see number # 4 but still not # 2 . On my laptop - using chrome.

Hmm, weird. I just tried Chrome and could see both pictures just fine. Try clearing cookies. (I'm on a Macbook pro).

I don’t see the pic in post 2 either. Both on my iPhone and MacBook.

I probably picked a bad example - it's a very wide, narrow pano image.

just working out the bugs - I am covering a colleague who is on leave and working out the bugs of taping and distributing worship has been interesting even though I have done it elsewhere to good effect - just a slightly different context makes everything different.
