A filling station proprietor in Diedesheim, Germany, found an inventive way to keep business just “rolling along” as shown in this press photo dated Aug. 6, 1954. His crew roller skated right over to the customer and filled the tank, checked the oil, cleaned the windshield and dusted the upholstery. Quite understandably business was reported to be brisk with the attractive new crew.

Must say it's been a long time since I cleaned my engine with a feather duster.
