So I now have 3 fun vehicles -- Tunebug, a new Triumph Bonneville, and a recent acquisition, a 1966 Honda S90 (named Meep after the silly little horn sound). Well, the Tunebug is in parts, scattered across the country being rebuilt. The Bonneville is at the dealer for warranty work (leaking brake reservoir). I've been working on bringing the little Honda back to life, but it wasn't registered or fully functional.

We were sent home early today, since Pres. Bush is visiting the town where I work, and was landing in the field next to my office. I took advantage of the extra time, and took Meep down for an inspection... and he passed! Still got a few leaks to chase, but now I've got fresh new license plates. At least one of my toys is working and legal!

"A pathetic little: "meep" as the 18-wheeler runs over you and the driver says: 'Did you hear something?!?'"

The driver wouldn't even feel the bump. Keeps you on your toes, for sure.

Also makes the 948 in a Bugeye feel like a massive V8.

But at least you would have been getting good gas milage whilst being squashed.

remember back in the day ... when you didn't dare paint a white stripe down the middle of a black VW Beetle?

trucks would think it was a bump in the road
