A fellow club member was reassembling his MGA. He had many parts powder coated. There was one mystery part that he couldn't remember and nobody on the MG forums seemed to have a clue. As spring rolled around he found out that the mystery part was actually a piece off his lawn mower that accidentally was sent off to the powder coat shop with all the MGA bits.
