FRIENDS, ROMANS, AND COUNTRYMEN.......I COME NOT TO EXCUSE MYSELF FROM MY DELINQUENCY BUT TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY ABSENCE EXCEPT WHEN I'M IN A CRACK( the usual) Tony Barnhill you marvelous individual.....thank you for rectifying my (?) mistake the rings that my experts ordered will be returned as soon as Terry & I return from the VA hospital. & depending on the success of another defensive surgery against the unrelenting onslaught of the non existent AGENT ORANGE (Really Super Purple) If I owe you for the mistake, please let me know the difference- I mean it - Zack is supposed to mail back your others. and he promised he would get them right off. right now life sucks and it has to improve-worse is no wher to be found. The possibility of a "firesale" is just over the horizon.........not really alot of LBC's. but 30's to 70's - finished to forlorn American beauties may be soon available. I have 47 cars and a very sick husband- besides a "classic" junkyard full..........I'm trying to laugh but if the VA's medical care lives up to our expectations as usual we are in terrible trouble. GOD BLESS AMERICA, but darn I wish I'd NEVER HEARD OF VIETNAM. BASIL IF I'm out of line..........well I just am. :frown:

Randi, not out of line as far as I am concerned. I am sorry to hear that Terry is ill, so if blowing off steam to relieve the frustration of dealing with your husband's health challenge helps, then why not do it here.

Awhile back a friend of mine, Troy, was dealing with the effects of agent orange, as is your husband Terry. When Troy first told me of what he was facing, I started to sympathize with him until he stopped me and said, "Hey Noelan, I got 35 good years after Nam, some did not. S... happens." A solder still, even after all those years. That was a few years ago and Troy is still with us, not without problems, but still here, and by the grace of God, Terry will pull through this as well.

Take care of yourself, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Randi - I with you on this one...the Agent Orange....it's slowly doing a job on me as well....I've not gotten to where Terry is but I know its coming...thankfully, my local VA clinic really watches me & my VA hospital does the same....so, I'm medicated to not feel the pain, I'm monitored to see the early oncoming of additional problems...& they've not questioned my claims or my request for benefits.

That doesn't help Terry or you...but, be assured there are good VA hospitals out there.....does Terry have an Agent Orange counselor or is he a member of an Agent Orange group? Those folks all are in Terry's shoes & many of them know the system better so can offer advice.

Ray's friend was correct...I've gotten 41 good years since Vietnam....but I want 41 more! I've watched good friends lose the battle with Agent Orange and I've seen many stabilize and hang on....I'm praying Terry's in the latter group even though there are definitely days that are worse than others.

I'll PM you when you're over this to discuss the rings....glad they helped & that you got them overnight so Terry could finish youe engine.
