Last week I installed a new fuel sender. As long as the trunk (boot) was emptied and panels were off I decided to add a LED strip light. I have a couple of feet of it so I cut off a small piece and now have light.

Nice, did you duplicate the process & add a red strip over license plate for highly visible 3rd brake light?
No need to do that! A couple of years ago I built this “one-of” third brake light. It’s easily removable in about 10 seconds. This light flashes when you step on the brake.

Nice the more the better, like my TR6 lit up like a Xmas tree when I hit the brake pedal
I got the light off of a police motorcycle, and I built the case.
The light pattern can be selected. I have it set to rapid flash as long as your foot is on the brake.
