Just think of what that Peugot might be able to do if they got rid of all the junk, and set up the suspension to handle instead of hop up and down.

The BE looked race-prepped so should have the Peugot been, either that or they should have found a pimped-out BE (perish the thought)!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
 
I think the idea was to take what the cars prepped the way the average user/enthusiast preps them... So in that respect, it was an alright comparo, IMO.

However, I think I'm inclined to agree with ya. If they got a Pug enthusiast of the same ilk as the FrogEye owners, the story probably would have been different.

Unfortunately, it seems there are more people into making newer cars ~look~ and ~sound~ fast rather than actually making the things perform.
 
Like the latest piece of work we have washing cars at the shop. His idea of improving a car is buffing his dents and adding more speakers. The other day he came over and was telling me how he just picked up $800 worth of audio equipment for $150. I have him a blank stare. So he repaeted his statement. And I asked him why he wasted $150. He went to talk to sombody else.....hehehehehehehe
