Look at this pile of rust and look at the price that it is listed for locally - at the bottom. No floors, no boot floor, what a mess. I wouldn't mind having the seats, though.

"nadaguides.com is listing this car at low retail $9,775 average $10,875 and high $12,450 so Happy bidding !!"

Well, at least three of them, eh, Clff? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

People have bid over $1000 for that monstrosity.
I need to go back to the UK and visit a few scrapyards. I'll be a millionaire by this time next year.

Lemme know when you go, alana - I'll go with you & we'll split a long container in which to stack them!

Crikey, at the price bid for that thing price you'd need an entire ship - you could sell on consignment and still clean up with the commissions.

To make it truly worthwhile of course one could take back as many clean bodyshells (MG, TR or AH, doesn't matter) as one could get hold of and do nicely on both sides of the pond.

Tony- You and Alan better schedule Wendy to go
with you. She can be your language translator
since she's a Brit herself plus her MBA will help
you guys understand the Brit pound, pence, farthing,
quid, meat pie and chips stuff.

What, my MBA won't?

That depends. Is yours a "Masters of British Articulation"? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Yup Rob yer correct on that one.

Wendy's family is from way northern England.
Wendy had to translate for her mum and me to
communicate! Truth as I sit here typing.

neither of us could understand each other's
spoken "English".

Ya need the MBA from U of Wales to best effective
across the pond.

I reckon I can still speak enough English to get by.
I haven't totally lost the accent.

Tinster - meat pie & chips? Shurely you mean fish'n'chips, preferably with mushy peas - the food of the gods.

Iff'n she's not from Dahn Saarth (note capitals, and it helps to vocalize) then she can't mean pie, mash and liquor, so it's gotta be fish'n'chips
