T-Series Arnolt Heater Original Color

Does anyone know what finish/color was used for the Arnolt heaters that inhabited MG TDs and TCs? A search through Google Images shows some painted gloss black, some a kind of bronze, and finally some that are a greenish metallic, much like the valve-cover color of Healey 3000s. I suspect this latter is the original, but I am not at all sure.

I ask because I have one that I would like to restore and sell. It's in good condition, no leaks, the fan works, but it's been given an ugly repaint. Restoring it seems like a fun little project.

IMG_3013.jpgI am told by a seller that this heater is an un-installed unit still with its instructions. So maybe they came in more than one color?

I found the Google images, too. I think the green one with the lighter color door really looks like an original finish.

That's interesting about the red one. I'd never imagined that they might be that color. Kinda clashes with many interior colors. Still, it doesn't matter a lot--all I need is one original finish; if there are more than one, that's fine.

The red enamel would be easy to do, though. But I like the green better.
