Armstrong adjustable lever shocks

Looking to buy a set of Armstrong adjustable lever shocks for my 1962 Austin sprite vintage race car. Willing to pay a fair price. Thanks, Jeff

Peter should be along shortly- his are the best
BillM

Yeah, I want original ones for no other reason than they are original. Peters units look great though. Either way, I'm sure they will be going to him for a rebuild.... Thanks

+1 for Peter's shocks. Appearance-wise, they are indistinguishable from the originals. Operation-wise, they're fantastic. I replaced all four lever shocks on my '69 Sprite with Peter's shocks, and the car's handles like it is on rails.

Good luck with finding them. You may as well be looking to find an original heater/fan switch for the BE, complete with Bakelite knob. ..

I actually bought a new one when BL was closing out the Special Tuning Dept and picked up a rebuilt one from AH Spares. Of course that was about 30 years ago.

Yeah...lots of things I could buy 30 years ago that are NLA.....

I have one of those that came with my Parts Car along with a Washer Pump. Now I had to buy a complete parts car but I got those along with some important parts I needed for Bugsy II. Bugsy III the Parts car is leaving to a new home before the end of the month and will help get two other BE's back on the road.

Do you want to sell it? What side is it?

Nope, I do not. I do have one that came with my originally RHD BE if all of the paperwork is to be believed and the one that came off of the BE Parts car. That one has a frozen cable that some time in a Evaporust Bath may fix. But that is a part of my project far down the road. I did find a Mk II Cable/Switch on E-Bay that I think will work as well.

We must be talking about different things?... I'm looking for adjustable lever shocks... no cable or switch on those

Never mind I thought I was answering the answer about unobtanium parts i.e. BE heater cables/fan switches
