Armacord in the trunk, Healey Blue BN1

I just wanted to confirm that the trunk armacord for a Healey Blue BN1 (54) would have been blue and not black?

According to Clausager, the Armacord in the cockpit and in the boot matched the trim color.

Longbridge BN-4's are the same. I purchased a black kit (the only option) and painted it with SEM vinyl spray paint and it matches the blue upholstery perfectly.

Hey Simon,
AH Spares in UK sells armacord boot kits in colors other than black. Plus the area behind your seats - tonneau area - should also be in a matching color armacord, not carpet.
Regards,
Mike

Excellent, thanks, I thought so. Now I can get my Dad back for all the packages he has had sent to my house over the years. He has been a Porsche 356 man forever, and since he lives in the UK he would regularly call and let me know to expect "small" pacakages to arrive at my home in Illinois so I could hand carry them to the UK on trips. The most famous occasion being when an entire interior upholstery kit for a 356B coupe showed up. It was the size of a coffin and must have weighed 150lbs! Revenge will be sweet :D

That's hilarious ! Tell him you want to have him pick up a couple of fenders to bring back for you ! As it is, the armacord kit does weigh a bit so he won't be sticking that in his suitcase.
