Arm Rest Diminsions

Good pictures. I wil be adding an armrest to my BN6, so these are helpful (good idea with the velcro). Tell me, do you anticipate sewing the armrest to the carpet by hand in situ? It might be possible with a curved upholstery needle?
Good pictures John, most likely will refer to them when I'm ready to install on my BJ7. Above, not sure the BN6 is the same size as the BJ7, but on securing to tunnel carpet I took my BN7 tunnel carpet and armrest to a local shoe repair shop. They have the necessary sewing machine, stronger thread in various colors too. Did an excellent job and only cost $10! Oh, I did temporarily spray a glue on the armrest and stuck it where I wanted it.

Regarding the BN6 armrest style, I checked out some period promotional images and the BN6 appears with the same arm rest as the BN7. Thanks!

John,

Got the Healey back from the upholstery guy. It looks great!!
Two tone tan with white piping. The arm rest came out perfectly. He also made a spare tire cover to match the interior. She is ready for a spring showing.
