If somone has interest in purchase of a well prepared racer, I know of one being sold quietly. Nice car.

The only reason to buy those molds is to burn them. IMO

LOL... and they look much worse in person than in photos. They can look half decent of photographed at the right angle, but I acquired one of these years ago as part of a package deal and I sold and had it picked up by someone else without ever taking physical possession of it. A guy in Oregon bought it from me and turned it into a race car. It was a pretty amazing transformation from what it started if off as...

Molds? As in "I can make Arkley kits and sell them?" Cool! I want them! :cool-new: Never mind that I have no money to buy them, no space to store them, and no way to use them...

I love the Arkley nose. Not so much the boot, and the wheel openings are awful. BUT, if I had the molds, I could tweak them and make it pretty from ALL angles, and then the Arkley could look as good as its potential. :eagerness:

Arkley: what happens when you leave a Spridget and a Meyers Manx alone too long...

Can't find the ad, must be pulled and or sold. Remember looking into the conversion in the late 70s for my rusted Sprite, not the prettiest thing on the planet, is it?

Huh, weird, if I try the link from my new laptop it won't do anything, go to San Diego Craigslist and search on "Arkley" get nothing, I did get the link to work from my droid phone.

Well, personally I never cared for them but as Phil mentioned they rescued some rusted cars and they definitely catch your eye. My son was after one at one time. Decided it was too rusty.

Kurt.

Got a friend here in Dayton who is an Arkley afficianado. He's sold 3 in the past year and has kit parts to make 1 or 2 more. If anyone is interested I can provide a lead. He's decided to keep his 1380 and 5 Speed Arkley along with a Stalker V-6 he picked up last year. Rest of his toys are being sold off. I need ot get out to his house to drive the Stalker. Have fun memories of test driving one of those in Boca Raton.

Interesting, I'm going to drop a note to Mike. He's the source of the 1275 that has been in the back of my garage for past 7-8 years that will be going into Bugsy II. He has some fun toys at his house just North of Dayton.

Well bought! I can't say I've ever really liked them - though in the video, the yellow racer and the green one shed a whole new light! More to the point, thanks for saving another piece of history for those who do like them. congrats!

The yellow racer is the one I used to own. I sold it to a guy in Oregon who turned it into the racer. Unfortunately, that's the only pic I have of it once it was done. It didn't look nearly that good when I got to, but it was part of a package deal with the Bugeye I purchased. I was focused on getting that car done (and still trying to get there). The same guy later bought my Bugeye shell, but I never saw how that one turned out.

Here's a pic of them both as they arrived in Oregon.
