Are you going to buy that lens?

Having taken up photography as another post-retirement hobby, I can relate to this chart I found on another forum.

I saw the same flow chart on a black powder group I belong to on Facebook with gun substituted for lens.

I keep debating on lens upgrades. I recently bought Micro 4/3 versions of all of my 4/3 lenses for use when traveling. I no longer take the larger DSLR's but have gone mirrorless, mostly using my Olympus EM-1. Now the debate is do I upgrade to the pro versions, or use the money to pay for more trips where I can take photos. Our last vacation turned into an 1100 plus album on Flickr, and a nearly 70 minute video on YouTube. Now we are planning an English road trip this fall, so no new lenses will probably be bought again soon.
