Are they worth this much?

No. Maybe in England, but not in the US. But some poor soul might come along and bite. It's a very presentable car but would have to be perfect to draw that kind of money.

Expensive area in SoCal...their pushing an overpriced 250 also on ebay...both listed several times over the last year.

Sure would be great if they were, though !

Very similar wheels, but not identical. For one thing, the valve stem is in a different place.

Seems like I should know the car; Checkered Flag isn't far from where I work (and is well known for buying cheap and selling dear). But I don't. Maybe because the car is from San Diego.

Looks pretty sanitary, although I see a missing vacuum line and I think there are some decals missing/wrong under the hood.

Does anyone else think it's odd that the commission number doesn't have the "L" suffix denoting LHD ?

For $18,000, you'd think they would guarantee their description ...

I am no expert, but I think the idea for used car sales is to start high and get worked down until you get as much as you can. It has always worked for me whenever I have sold any of my cars in the past years.

I love it!High prices - but sold as-is.
I like the line on the S3 Lotus Elan -
"Could be used as a daily driver" yeah-right!
