I have a set of 87mm NOS Repco cylinder kits and am wondering if I would be better off selling them and getting a new set or using them. They are dated 1974 in the original box and are covered in cosmoline. And if they are not better than new ones how much are they worth?

Repco is an aussie company that built the Repco-Brabham world championship winning F1 engine in 1966 and 1967, so they know a thing or two, and those parts would have been state of the art quality.

ISTR Repco also "branded" (if not actually manufactured) brake cylinder rebuild kits that I did not like at all, especially some overly stiff seals that would crack as one tried to install them. But I suspect that anything of theirs that is engine-related would be top shelf!
