When it gets to a lateral 1G capacity, call me.

I ain't warm-n-fuzzy over any of 'em yet.

Fancy website tho. And it open'd about four browser tabs in an eyeblink. Another reason to be a skeptic. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Can anybody say "Tucker"?

Hmmmm, I wonder how it does in 6" of snow or the ever so popular pot hole?

How much crap do you have to watch to see the dang thing. It's like they are embarassed of thier car. After seeing it they probably should be.

I was expecting it to be a Lotus Esprit type submarine hybrid with all the fish everywhere....
That being said, it will go a long way in design concepts for more aethetically pleasing designs in future years.
Only available in CA.....
Did anyone catch the price tag?

I wanta know how they got that picure of me on the beach in my Speedo!

SHEESH - You guys are tough!

I still think it's a neat concept. We'll see what happens with it...

If the Free Market wants it, it will happen. I would not buy one, but I'm just one opinion.

Neat concept. There are companies building kits for Priuses that work essentially the same way. you plug it in overnight, and get full electric power until that pack is depleated, then you return to normal hybrid cycling. It effectivly gives you a MPG rating of over 100. But the kits currently run around $12K.... It take MANY MANY miles to recover that cost.
I fear this companies problem will be that thier design is too radical for the general motoring public. But I hope to see them do well. We need mor small companies taking that step twards the next generation of vehicles.
But it dosen't look like it'd do very well in the snow.
I still think it's cool.

It isn't too "radical", it has two major problems, (1)it isn't practical for the vast majority of motorists in the USA and (2)it is butt ugly.

...or too "cute"...

A good rule would be: "Never be th' FIRST"

IBM tried and lost to Bill Gates.

A confessed addendum to my last comment #1, (1a)neither is my Miata, but that's another story

Like I siad...does anybody remember Tucker?

Uh huh, me. Vaporware - but I suspect Tucker delivered more vehicles than this guy will.

Just a hunch.

Jim Bede comes to mind in airplane circles too. Same idea. Promise tons, lots of flash, lots of press, takes your money, delivers little or nothing in return.
