Yeah, you know we had some friends over for dinner Sunday night and I told them I was nostalgic for the "old" pre-2000 internet when Google (and everyone else) was not attemping to "monetize" everything by providing new "opportunities" for us
(ie- "opportunities" is code for "new restrictions that coerce you into buying stuff") :chargrined:

If I had a student enter my classroom with Google glasses, I'd throw him out right away

I am all for technology but I rather enjoyed 'getting lost.' Met a lot of nice folk. As to texting, tweeting, etc. I still like the fine art of conversation - in person and on the phone. Guess I'm still a throwback and Thursday is the only day I amin fashion.
 
Whats wrong with the world today? I don't see why anyone would want a pair of these things.
