Anyone using FireFox 3.0.6?

One of our members emailed me that the site looks all messed up when he uses Fire Fox 3.0.6, but it is ok with Safari and Opera. The thing is, I use FF 3.0.6 and the site looks fine to me. This is what he said:

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:]no image in top left, "BritishCarForum" centered top to bottom and left justified in header. vendor ad still shows up on right
grid image missing

link names in menu bar are darker blue than normal
on far right of menu bar it reads "Welcome theleisure. [Log Out] Popup to change mood" and then there is a down arrow

The background behind table menus are showing up as blue instead of grey. No images are showing up at all. In thread window there is usually a folder to the far left and then an emoticon and then thread text. in firefox it;'s showing up as "no new posts", no emoticons visible, and then thread text. Attachments are not visible in posts

This is happening on my laptop (osx 10.5.6) and on my computer at work (a pc, xp sp2 i think)

everything looks ok in opera and safari[/QUOTE]

Does anyone else use FF 3.0.6 here and if so, how does the site look?
Basil

3.0.4 has no issues. I've been ignoring the drop down window to upgrade to 3.0.6.

Works well in Vista with no issues that I can see. I know you have to have MS 2000 or above for it to run right. It's setup for Mac and Linux also. Think it could be a driver issue in his computer? Maybe a lack of memory?

Now that you mention it, I have Adobe Flash player in my machine and it works fine with my Flock browser and IE, but in FF, it keeps telling me I don't have it. Don't know why.

I'm kinda in Greg's camp: FF 3.0.5 on Linux here and all is well, am ignoring the 3.0.6 "reminders" for now. On XP Pro and FF 3.0.6 it seems fine, too. Gotta be a "local" config issue of some sort.

Sounds like the guy has a local issue, but what is odd, he has the same result whether using his laptop or his work computer. I'm wondering if maybe some security software that is common between the two may be causing some issue.

I'm using FF 3.0.3 and I'm experiencing the same issues as the original guy. Office and home pc are the same. IE works fine. I'll mess with the settings to see if there is something obvious.
