I too have the MWS wheels with Vredesteins on my BN2, sold and mounted by Tom Monaco (he's a Vredestein distributor). I haven't put a lot of miles on them, but they completely eliminated pretty severe scuttle shake. They seem to lose a little pressure over time, but I'm not sure if it's seepage or temp changes between drives. They appear to be well-constructed and have excellent powder coating.
FWIW, I've run both tubed and tubeless on my BJ8 for many years and, IMHO tubeless is the way to go. I've had flats with tubes caused by abrasion between the tube and the inside of the tire (yes, I used talc on the tubes). I can't imagine why anyone would recommend tubes with modern tires, but sometimes people just think "That's what we did in the '50s, so that's how it should be."
