Hey all,
Anyone have any luck using the "better" HVLP spray gun from Harbor Freight ? I just need to repaint my hood and based on what I have seen on YouTube, this gun is okay versus the real cheap one that sells for $14.99. I had the hood shot by a professional and still ended up with some runs around the louvers so figure I can do just as good as he did. I have painted an MG TC before so have some experience so not a complete novice with spraying a car. Thanks in advance for any advice or ideas.
Regards,
Mike

If you are talking about the "20 oz. High Volume Low Pressure Gravity Feed Spray Gun'Central Pneumatic Professional - item#66222 It looks just like the one I bought from Wilmar/Performance tools #M710 years ago. As long as the gun "Atomizes" the paint....its good. The picture to the left is my hood done with a $^^.00 (retail) gun with a 1.4 tip. I sprayed base/clear through the same tip. Clean the gun extensively!

Harbour Freight HVLP Here is link I bookmarked. I have the gun, but have not used it. Lots of good tips on the setup.
