Anyone up for an Arkley project that's for sale?

G'Day Edward,
Unfortunately, this is no good to me, but you might generate a bit more interest with some pix.
Arkley Spridgets are quite unique.
Here is a link to Andy Gibson's Arkley web site.

Hopefully someone will take the oportunity to own a unique Spridget.

That thing is awesome looking. I want one!!!!!

Talking of Arkley, did anyone notice that John Britten died just recently? He was quite a character.

Not the Arkley in question but, here's mine as a point of reference:

Here is mine, it needs a lot of work but someday I will get around to fixing it up. Note the extremely rare swooped doors, as far as I know only two like this one are left to exist. Also rare mine had a hardtop.

Thus the answer to the question:

"What do you get when you cross a Meyers Manx with a Spridget?"

Re: Anyone up for an Arkley project that's for sal

Mine has the even rarer boot in place of the spare tire recess. As far as I know only this one exists since I did it myself.

LOL. Not sure if you were trying to be funny, but it was (in a good way).

Is the fiberglass body lighter than the factory panels?

That was the point of the Arkleys, he wanted to build a lighter faster spridget that was stripped down to only what you need. The shape and weight was supposed to raise the top speed 10 mph over a stock car.

That thing has the cd of a TREE !!!!

I guess it didn't reach the goal.

(case in point, a VW bus has a better cd than a bug.)
