I tok my initial flying lessons & soloed in a Cherokee - love that little low wing plane!

I never wanted to take photos while in the air...

I remember when my instructor had me doing turns around a point - he chose a tree out in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere as my reference point...when I had finished the maneuver to his satisfaction, we noticed an old dog running around in circles barking up at us....I slowly drifted away still making circles until the old dog couldn't see his farmhouse anymore....hehehe....boy, did he look confused when he finally sat down
