So I am thinking about painting (when I get there) TR3 in two tone to match a same year triumh motorcycle that I am rebuilding (sorry to you purist out there!!).. has anyone seen a two tone TR3 like a Healeys were sometimes painted?? A picture if you have one would be nice.. Not sure where to put the division lines...

Thanks
Jack

I saw one recently but cannot remember which web site it was on. It showed the car at an event with the owner standing by. I cannot even be sure of the colors (light greens?) I believe it was separated at the fender beads. I'll keep looking though.

I have seen a two tone TR3 -- I think it was at one of the national conventions. It too was separated at the fender beads. I can't remember the colors, but remember thinking that the color contrast seemed too great IMHO -- thought it would look better with a more subltle change in color.

Here a couple that I have come across.
