Howdy all! I just received a replacement door mirror for my TR-250, and I'm not happy with it, so I've decided to keep the original. However, the glazing is starting to deteriorate. Anyone have experience with replacing the glass in a rear view mirror? Thanks as always!

Re: Anyone replace the blass in a rear view mirror?

Well... I've sort of done that. I've had glass shops cut custom mirrors for me for visors and I've had a simple square rear view mirror cut for me. However, my rear view mirror was a very early type for the Mini and the glass is all there is, it's just clamped on the outer edges. The other mirrors I've had cut were secured by glue and I used RTV to bond them to their mounts.
