Anyone rebuild Longbridge washer pump

Biggest snag would be getting a proper rubber bulb.

You've probably already seen the pictures of how I converted my Longbridge pump (fitted as original on my very early BN6) into an electrical switch to activate a hidden pump...

Just a generic "parts store" pump, an old Healey ovd relay (to preserve the switch contacts), a momentary contact switch (just something I had laying around).

The only trick, and all shown in the link above, was to mount the switch inside the former pump; I cut down a shock absorber washer to fit inside the aluminum can and its offset allowed the switch to be positioned within the range of plunger movement.
