Anyone notice this?

Odd angle to photograph a grille. I agree that it doesn't look right. However, I've done business with him a couple of time and have been very satisfied by the quality.
 
The piece shown looks like it came off of an Austin-Healey 3000, produced from 1959-67. Above the main grill which supplies air to the radiator is a fake air scoop. This chrome piece finishes off the front edge of the raised bump on hood. (hood used in the American sense) There is nothing like this piece of chrome on a Bugeye.
