Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Heh - Vicky might just have a cow if I went for it.
Peter says I should get it.

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

You could use it for a yard tractor and when you are tired of it just run it into the river!! ...or just wait until the next flood...

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Rick,
Go for it!! Listen to Peter, not Vicky, a wise lad if I ever met one.

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

OH MAN !!!! That thing would bring $1000-$1500 down here !!!

$300?!?!?!?

I want TWELVE OF 'EM !!!!

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

If I could hook up a mower deck or two I could pass it off as our new riding lawnmower!!

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Just drag a push-mower behind it!

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Bill, I hate to break it to you, but after seeing that thing "You might be a redneck." :hammer: :jester:

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

It needs at least 5 spotlights on it for driving around the backwoods and "spotting game"...

THEN you might be a redneck!

:jester:

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Billy!
Do you really think that I am anything other than a redneck??!! (especially compared to all of the other folks up here in "latteland").
Bill

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

all the others???

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Billm,
We really need to define 'Redneck'. I'm located in Tuscaloosa, AL and I'm sure a lot of people have seen some of our locals on TV. That said, we need to compare notes and understand that we down here consider Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy to very sophisticated people! If anyone needs a good introduction to a few of my favorites, I could use some help on my Bugeye.

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

I was raised up on the north coast of Oregon.
I learned to drive trucks when I was 10. Rolled my first Ford truck down a steep hill when I was 11. Learned to drive tractors and skidders and all manner of heavy equipment by the time I was 15. Learned which end of a choker cable was the best place to work by the time I was 16.
Hunted and fished and worked on farms and rode motorcycles and drove anything that would move.
Youth is truly wasted on the young, I didn't know how good I had it.
I WAS a redneck.
Now I'm a tame old guy.

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

OK all of you "wannabe" rednecks-
The tester is now gone, went to the first guy who came out and he was happy!
Guess that I should have asked more?
Rick- you are safer now!
Bill

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

What is he gonna do with it?

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

He has 5 acres in the country and is going to use it as a get-around toy and low-level tractor (very low level!!!).
He has a couple of BIG V8 powered ones but they are loud and hard to get into some places so this is a fill-in.
Bill

Re: Anyone need a "transmission tester"?

Oh good, I don't have to think about that any more...

I got a new fan for my car, the old one finally gave up.
(Bill, you were right)
This time I have the thermo switch, relay and adjustable controller kit.
