Anyone need a bigger 4bbl carb?

Long story.

I have a Quick Fuel Q650 with about 500 miles on it.
It's too big for my engine. I was at the dyno today, and it was a mess.

I need a Holley 465 (0-1848-1).
New, or in comparable condition.
Anyone want to do a swap?

i have some really unattractive dyno plots and my wallet is lighter.
my off idle stumble is better, and i'm staying above 10:1 all through the pull, but that's about it. i now have a rather unpleasant cyclical surge at steady cruise at 85 in exchange though.

sigh

Tom,

If he would put a supercharger on that TR6, I'll bet he could get a 4bbl to work.

That will set Alan off....

Good night all......

It's already capped.
My problem is that I'm overcarb'd and the tuner can't choke it down enough.
I have a massive torque dip in the 2000-3500 rpm range where it goes rich.

Perhaps I'll just buy this:

A better option?

Looking to do an updated injection system on the TR8 now? Can't say that I blame you.

One of these systems would be nice. You can even use your existing manifold thought it would have to have some custom machining done to it.

Not at that money. I have a 97 disco engine.
I can buy a complete 14CUX setup with NEW ($500) injectors for 1/2 that.
And it won't need tuning when it's installed...

Now if (when?) I get a bigger engine, then we'll talk about something else. Until then, stock LR is the way to go here. True plug and play...

Alan- Ask Woody if he'll take it back for a little less.
