Anyone near Sea Island GA?

My uncle is giving me his 1978 MGB, he's even being kind enough to ship it coast to coast for me. The problem is that the car is now Garaged in Sea Island GA. Apparently that's a problem for pickup of the car. I know it's a long shot, but is there anyone nearby that can get the car to Brunswick, Savanah or Jacksonville?

Anyone know of any reliable flat bed towers that could do it?

Any input is appreciated

My wife works on St. Simons which is next door to Sea Island. She goes through Brunswick everyday to work. Is car driveable now. If so; we could help get it to Brunswick for pickup.
I will check with one guy over there that works on these cars. He may know a carrier if I can find a phone number.

uship.com is a broker. The job will go to the lowest bidder. It's a crapshoot. Personally, I want to deal directly with the transportation company.

I guess they won't let the truck onto Sea Island?

That's not the issue, well not yet anyway. Long story abbreviated, my uncle has a car dealer friend in the Chicago area who is coordinating the move. Apparently, there are not allot of shippers who would dispatch to sea island to pick up the car.

Too bad, There is a LOT of money on that island. Rich people buy expensive cars and like to have them shipped.

it's all set, the GM of the Audi Exchange in Chicago found a carrier who will pick up the car in Sea Island and will deliver it to me in San Diego.
