Anyone mind If I hunt for parts here? More stuff..

I Placed an ad in the WTB section but I thought I'd ask here as well. Is this against the rules?

Well, I was hoping someone would have a rubber boot that attaches to the side of the transmission tunnel and connects the flex tube to the defrost vent. I have one missing.

Also I am looking for a complete heater box with fan and heater core for a 1500 sprite as pictured on page 17 of the Moss catolog.

I'm starting to gather some parts for a final push. Maybe the Shealey will make the 50th...

If anyone can help, PM me.

TIA,

Rick

No prob asking for parts or letting folks know what you have here as long as you are not in the business.

In fact we all do it from time to time, it is one of the joys of this site.

I put it on my watch list. That's a 1275 heater. I'm going to try to win it. I'm looking for the 1500 heater because the duct attaches on the left. I moved the battery over to the right side. So the left duct may work better.

My stock heater box isn't the best with the straight tube and the separate fan unit isn't ideal.

Ehhh, what type engine do you have in the bugeye?

Two notes:
1. The opening in your heater tray may need to be altered to work with different heaters.
2. I have a spare "elbow" if you still need it.

Ahh, OK... it is the cousin of Bugzuki.

Yes, But this will be a street version. I'm running the Stock Fuel Injection. This car is for my wife to drive. She loves the British cars but she in not comfortable driving these old cars with the manual chokes and quirky strange stuff that just happens. I bought her a very nice 59 MGA. She drove it once. She didn't trust it would get her to work and back without stalling, flooding, starving, or something funky us guys just deal with. Whimmin...
