I was up there without my cars. It was a guys weekend away at a friends house just north of Stowe. We'd planned to go to the show on Saturday, and did for about 1.1/2 hrs....damp is a bit of an understatement.
It was a crying shame to see all those lbcs in the mud.
I'm also a big soccer nut...still play in an over 40 league and it was equally sad to see those lovely soccer fields ruined.
For those of you that showed your cars despite the weather, all credit to you.

Just got home tonight. More like 6" of mud. Tomorrow I will begin to pressure wash the TR3's undercarriage of twenty pounds of Vermont!
Still had fun. Every day except Saturday was really nice for driving. We took a pass over the mountain to go to our house FRiday night, just as it was getting a little dark. Plenty of tight switching twisties and evalation changes for great driving. Yee hah!

I'm 3 for 3 on shows this year...... VTR - storms everyday, CTR - rain
driving to show, British Invasion - RAIN & MUD. But I did get to hook up
with a few list members who were brave enough to come to the show and drive
their cars out on to the "field"/swamp. It's a shame because this is a great
show in a beautiful location that can attract 700 cars in good weather. I
just posted a bunch of "unusual" pictures on my site. Just follow the

100-S. was the road we were crusin' on too (my wife said "I'm starting to get scared") But the 3A was lovin it and if I knew the road better, she would really get scared!
Sat sucked mud! WE left early and headed up the highway to our house on Snake Mt.
