Walking up to the mail box I noticed a shiny object in the road. On checking I discovered that there was a 10 mm socket laying in the road. I don't think it is one of mine but I have added it to the stable.
So thats where it went! (or at least one of the half-dozen or so I'm missing). I think they are like socks in the laundry - somewhere in the universe is an entire mountain of them.
A few years back,my Wife & I were walking around Downtown Roanoke
when I looked down & saw a shiny object on the ground.I told my Wife "I know -
what this is!". It was the chrome piece that surrounds the taillight lens on an early
MGB.
Turns out that it had fallen off of an MG when the owner was trailering it to\
the British car shop just up the street.I gave it to the shop owner to give it to the
guy who lost it.
