There's a Ford Zephyr MKIV for sale on eBay.
It's one of the rare 4WD Ferguson conversions.Bidding
is only up to $1500.
This is from Mike Frankovich's collection. He
passed away a short time ago,& had two warehouses full
of interesting cars (most are American cars). His son
is selling a lot of these off.Adam58's seen some of them.

Where on eBay - got a url or link?

Tony,

Look on eBay motors under Ford - Other.
The item number is 320226537203.

I want the 1958 Campler trailer!!!!! Cool!

Whoever buys it HAS to paint it red, blue and yellow....and put MFP emblems on the sides....

Or is that just me??? LOL

Peter,

That car was built from the Aussie built Ford Falcon-
-rear wheel drive V8.There was a recreation of that at
the all Ford meet in Oregon a few years ago, complete with
a supercharger.

Good to see there are those of you who comprehend my insanity....!!

I always wondered about the mechanical aspects of that supercharger arrangement. If the supercharger was not spinning, how would fuel get into the engine? Is it possible to bypass that style of supercharger such that it can be turned off and on? I realize it is Hollywood but still....enquiring minds want to know. Seems like a job for Mythbusters!

Sad to hear about Mike, he had been quite active lately in the Vauxhall group on Yahoo, and I do know that he had a fabulous collection of stuff and has a number of interesting European cars (not sports cars though)

Just looked at the link... Forget about this police car, I want the Ford Zephyr Farnham estate car!

That's just unique. I want it too. I can't have it, but I can share in the sickness.

wouldn't turn my nose up at the Edsel ambulance either

The old "Jam Sandwich". Brings back memories of trying to spot them after the pub shut.
