Well...I have a rectangular hole in my dash and what I assume is an antenna hole near the windscreen pillar; was planning on patching those; perhaps I shouldn't.
What I don't see is anywhere that speakers were obviously mounted.

Speaker was built in to the radio.

Bet that it has shag carpeting and Miata seats!

It also has the wrong seat covering, no piping.
And that radio looks like it has only 1 knob like a modern CD player.
The original radio was made by Radiomobile and had a self contained speaker.
Dealers could have installed just about anything that would fit back in the day but 100% means the correct radio.
It also has a forward tilt bonnet. Again, not even close to correct.
No front bumper, so it is not 100% complete.
The chassis # is from a 59, the car is being sold as a 60. For that kind of money, they should have done a little research.
I just finished my "budget" Midget restoration and yes, I went through every nut and bolt, so is my $500 restoration 100%?
Well, sort of. I did work on 100% of the car.
Can I sell it for 28,000 bucks?
I don't think so. And it is missing the front bumper too!
jlaird said:My Bugeye long ago with an orginal radio was a Moderola (sp) with chrome push buttons and a speaker built into the bottom of the radio that went out into the foot well. How do I know, it was 1961.
