Anyone know if there is an upper control arm mount

I'm looking to remove the lever shocks on the front of the Bugeye. Does anyone have a source for an upper control arm mount that replaces the lever shock? I intend to replace the lever shocks with standard shocks. Some guys seem to add a shock and leave the lever shock in place. I would do the same except our lever shocks are siezed.

Look here:

Many of us have retained the lever shock as the upper arm, but the valve has been disabled, so there is no dampening action in the shock. It's also possible to triangulate the upper lever with an extra arm so that it is more steady.

Who is Peter? Got a link? I'm new to the lever shock world. I'm also exploring my options.

Peter's remanufactured lever shocks are highly recommended by many of us here! I put a pair on the front of my '72 Midget a couple of months ago and I swear it is like driving a different car! Go for it -- you will not be sorry!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Not only that but he says they won't leak ever or he fixes them. Have heard on one complain.

Go to his web site or phone him for prices, he's a nice guy and always likes to talk cars. Really. I think he gets loanly way up there. And fast service, really fast.

Ben:

I do recall that his prices are quit reasonable.

BTW, has anyone heard from Peter lately?
