Any of you guys have any MRE's you want to sell? I need to re-up on my hurricane supplies. I had some before...but when you nibble every so often...well...you know. Needless to say, I ate more of them than I shoulda. Drop me a line if you do, thanks.

I didn't think civilians could buy MREs.

When I was a kid I vaguely remember getting them on base, and later I remember seeing old C-rations for sale at army navy surplus stores.

They are avalible to us common folk, lots of survival places sell them. They make a civilian version too but I prefer the real deal. I once used the outter bag to make a carb bowl gasket for a welding machine while in Mexico.

The guy I fixed it for went back a year later and stated that it started leaking again...as if to complain. I think a year service life out it as a fuel gasket is exceptional.

They are talking about the ones handed out durring times of crisis. I don't trust ebay as a food source. I'd rather get them from someone I know here. While I would never ask anyone to break any rules/laws, I'd be more than happy to pay any additional handling fees. Everyone's time is worth something.

I think I'd rather stock up on beans and spam rather than MREs.
