I desperately need a dipper switch housing. The one we had intended to use must have been misplaced and as you can see the backup is in very poor condition.

I'd be willing to trade my pair of original TR aeroscreens. Just kidding, but if you have a decent housing with or without the switch and would be willing to part with it please PM me.

Many thanks!

Frank, the dipswitch was changed at TS60000 because heavy footed drivers could force the old style switch back against the firewall, causing it to arc out and risk a fire.

A mad panic at night trying to discover the source of a dreadful burning cable smell, just seconds before the headlights quit, probably isn't great fun.

I suppose you could insulate it better with a small rubber backing pad.

The later safer dipswitch isn't a bad upgrade, and I just fixed mine straight onto the firewall of TS33753 without a bracket. It uses spade terminals though.

But keep it quiet from Don so he can't spill the beans at the conkers. !!!.

Cheers,

Viv.

You could also give John at try at British Roadster.

He recently set me up with some really nice NLA single post fulcrum brackets. Sandblasted and everything!
