Anyone have a Bugeye feeler gauge?

Not the Lucas one that resembles a key, but the true feeler. If so what are the marking on the gauge? Could you post a photo?

Holy crap! Yes I have one. But it is like looking for a needle in a haystack. I'm not sure if it is readable. It is pretty rusty (which is why I just tossed it aside after I cleaned on it a bit). I'll take a look this afternoon if I get out to the garage.

Rut, Mine does not look like that.

This is a photo of my "tool kit" There are two "feeler gauges" Which one are you interested in? There over on the left side.

Those feeler gauges look like mine ... except mine are rusted and worthless. :(

The feeler gauge on page 41 of Horler looks like the one on eBay. While looking at this picture I noticed the wrapped rear springs on page 40...was this a common practice?

The one that you referenced on eBay is different than Scott's and the one in Horler's book. Notice that the middle piece should be longer than the two outside pieces. I'm trying to determine if this one is correct.

I see it now! I keep an eye out for one.

The parts book list the feeler gauge as "gauge -feeler-tappet and sparking plug" which tells me it should be a .012 and a .025 I would like fo find a real one so I could make copies. Bob

Sorry, I thought I had an original Bugeye feeler gauge, but after looking at pictures on the internet, I've decided that the mine (the rusty bit of crap I kept in the back of my toolbox for the past 5 years) is for a TR3. Sorry.
