Ray, mine was honed. There was not a shop around that had a boring bar that small and long enough.

Like Paul's, it took a long time and that was partly because it had to be shut down periodically because of heat. And like Paul said, "once started it has to be finished". Paul also got by cheap. Probably why his guy won't do it again.
