If so, how do you like it? Any problems worth mentioning? Does it enhance your motoring experience? On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate it?

No Rick, I'm committed (it'd already be done if the sunroof shop wasn't so far behind). I just thought I'd check with the folks on this site to get their opinions.

You just sounded a little frustrated. Sorry.

Have one in my daughter's '71 Karmann Ghia...never had any problems out of it the entire time she drove it in high school & college...still in great shap[e as we start planning the Ghia's restoration.

Also have the roof off an old GT that has one of the older Webastos in it...wood's rotten but the folks in the UK said they can restore it if I take it off the roof & send it to them.

I've always wondered if there was a lot of noise generated with those tops? I imagine a luffing in a breeze. A nice, stiff 65 mph breeze.

SHawn..the first cut is the deepest... as the song goes...I bought a webasto folding top for the e-type, then decided to upgrade to the more modern webasto electic spoiler...then couldn't bring myself to cut the opening...resolved it by selling the e-type....still have the top new in box if you decide to upgrade...good luck!
