Re: anyone from Northwich, Cheshire, or near , ??

I would be very careful here. The photos look like those used by a dealer in the USA. To help satisfy yourself that this offer is legitimate, I would recommend that you contact the seller and ask for a telephone number, and then if you win the auction, make arrangements to personally collect the vehicle and make payment at that time and not before. There is a lot of fraud on eBay. This auction might be perfectly legitimate, but I'd recommend caution, even with the seller's good feedback record.

As far as the car goes, it looks like it would be wise to assume that it will need a very complete restoration. In the USA those start at $35,000 and go up rapidly. If you are prepared to spend that much money, and/or do it yourself (which can be more expensive...), it might be a reasonable candidate if the price is right. Frankly IMO you'd be better advised to buy one that is already restored.

Sorry I can't go look at the car for you. I live on the west coast of the USA.

Yes, and notice that both the Healey and the Triumph in the background are LHD--rather unlikely circumstance if the pic's were taken in the UK.

Very observant Michael, however reportedly the car is a recent import from the US.---Keoke

Something very odd here - his last two feedback items seem to be the same Spridget sold to two different people

From your link I went to his web site. Seems he is asking 11,750 GBP. Kinda sounds like a bunch of cash for a car that doesn't run. I could be wrong but the other MKII on his site was a photo from the "Gullwing" garage. Be careful.
