I'm sitting here at work just following the nhl.com live ticker, and praying for a Pittsburgh win.

Is that a Steamer race!

Us too, Rob.

2-1 now and Dee-troit is determined.

GO PENGUINS!! :smirk:

woof.

Crossbar... close. :smirk:

Rafalski just dumped the 3rd goal for MoTown.

feh.

They do come alive in the third...

less than ten minutes to go. I hold scant hope.

Hockey isn't followed too strongly in my neck of the woods...but I went to college in Michigan...and I like it. Also converted the wife to fandom.

Go Redwings.

BTW....didja see that there may be a Blackhawks game played at WRIGLEY FIELD this winter?!?!?!?!

Incredible game! I really haven't watched much of the playoffs, but tonight's game? Going into the 3rd overtime period, wow... And a good game too...

I was following the game at work till shift change, and I was sure the game would end on my drive home. (hour drive and I left at the second intermission) As soon as I found out it was in OT, I stopped off at a pub on my way home, and I asked that the game was turned on. For the first 5 mins I was the only one watching the game. By the time I left, I had converted everyone in the pub into Penguins fans.

Malone was incredible to have his nose broken, or shattered, for the second time in the series. And to come back to play a hard checking game. I half expected to see him score the winning goal.

GOOD LAD!!

We generally don't watch too much regular season play, only went to one Lightning game this year. But this is th' playoffs...

Wednesday is gonna be interesting. It ain't over 'til it's over. Always a contest worth watchin'.

GO PENGUINS!!

How can you tell? I can't follow the dang puck.

Went to a fight and a hockey match broke out.
I know, I know, that's trite.

I have trouble with watching hockey when I am wearing shorts and sandles and have mowed the lawn and played golf the same day. I tried to stay interested while the Flyers were still in, but the season seems much too long. I watched the Phillies win again last night.

Geez, Dave! We go to the GAMES in shorts 'n flip-flops down here... all season! :jester:

I was kinda hopin' th' Flyers would climb to th' finals but Pittsburgh is a good second choice.

Tomorrow eve will be 'xciting.

Anytime a Pittsburgh team makes the trip down to Atlanta, I take the time off of work to go to the game. Even the Pirates!

I also want to add, even though I am a Penguins fan, we are seriously being outplayed by the Red Wings in almost every stat. I wish we'd wake up and start putting the puck to the net. Last nights game is a prime example. Marc Andre Fleury 54 saves (average number of saves for two games), and Chris Osgood 25 saves (average number of saves for one game).

Put another way: Fleury is AMAZING!!

Very much so, and it would be a crime if he didn't get the Conn Smythe Trophy!!!!!!!

Great game last night. I miss playing sooooooooo much.

The NBC camera coverage is alot better than Versus......but these announcers are really second rate. I need to sign up for CBC coverage somehow.
